What is "article ID number"?

Each article published on Philologica.net has its unique web address. One part of the web address is formed by a 14-digit identification number. The number can be used to retrieve either the article (via the Article Search Page) or the form of an ISO bibliographic reference to the article (via this page). The web address will be usually found within the article’s bibliographic reference, if an author has decided to include it in the list of bibliographic references of his book, essay, article, etc.
